What Really Is Pay Per Click

What Really Is Pay Per Click

I remember as a youngster walking through Walthamstow market and hearing the guys on the fruit and veg stalls at the top of their voices saying "Pound a pound banana!" Each one competing with the other to see who could shout the loudest. Though at times to be honest I found it funny looking back at it. They actually knew what they were doing because their stalls always had lines of people waiting to get fruit and veg.
Pay per click is based on the same principle but is the online version. So, using services like Google Adwords or Bing Ads you'll pay to have your ad placed in front of an audience. So say you sell fruit. If you were running an advert you would create one that only displays towards people who are looking for fruit, and your ad needs to be creative. It needs to stand out! It needs to be the online version of POUND A POUND BANANA!
There are many articles on creating the perfect ad, but what I've found is it's best to create an advert that resonates with your audience and placing your ads in places where people wouldn't think of, but give a lot of cheap traffic i.e. the price you pay when a person clicks on your ad.
Get this right and you'll have a queue of people lining up to do business with you.
